We made it to Fark!

So the massive winter storms that have pummelled Iowa in the last week got us in the top 20 on Fark.com. The headline reads "All 99 Iowa counties declared disaster, and not just because they're boring. Storms a-comin'".

Ah, don't you love the way we're portrayed to the nation. Oh, wait, sadly this is true...

Snow, snow, snow...

Well for all of you who managed to escape Northern Iowa, here's a quick update. There's a lot of friggin' snow! Big surprise, I know.... Well, how about this. The Iowa DOT closed I-35 from Ames to the MN border and I-80 from Nebraska to DSM and from DSM to Iowa City since there's so much damn snow.

My favorite part, it isn't going to get any better. The snow storm is just circling over all of Western Iowa and very slowly moving Northeast it looks like. It is kinda creepy because it look like an ill formed hurricane - but made of snow. Creepy.

I hate winter...
