My List

Okay jumping on the bandwagon here - also so I can sleep tonight. I worry and think too much...
Edit 5/16/2006 8:14 p.m.
Okay this blog is getting ridiculously long and it really only for my benefit, so I just deleted all the things I had finished.

School To-do - ideally by Friday
2) Grade AP crap
a) Non-test takers final essays

Home To-do - ideally by Sunday night
5) Finish/start sewing
c) cut out and sew purple sundress
d) cut out and sew multicolor skirt
13) Write on all congratulation cards

**Things added to the list at a later date**
31) Go through the dresser in kid's room and throw out old stuff
32) Take old stuff to Goodwill
39) Fix carpeting in bedroom doorway where Andy tore it up (damn dog)

What I WILL NOT be doing this week and weekend
1) Playing SimCity 3000
2) Doing genealogy research
3) Anything fun or relaxing...

joy

I am weak...I played SimCity this morning between bouts with a migraine. So, yah, I'm weak (Which is ironic because one of the cheat codes I used while playing SimCity is - I am weak.) And did genealogy research last while watching TV - I know bad Wendy, bad.

Oh man, my list for "do by Friday" and "do by Sunday" are actually the same, and consist of one item:
1. Return to "Lucky Baldwin's" to sample the rest of the beers at their Barleywine and Imperial Stout Festival.

That's actually it. There are a few other things I would like to do:
1. Make progress on research.
2. Comment on people's blogs.

Oh I guess number 2 is already taken care of.

Oh the joy of being a grad student :-p. There are words for you...beginning with a "b" and ending with, well... use your imagination.

Seriously though - is Luckey Baldwin's a local restaurant or brewery? Any good micro brew pics - cuz I'm going to need them to get trhough all that damn grading this weekend.

It's just a bar nearby that typically has around 30 beers on tap. Lots of Belgian beers and local microbrews. And then there are the festivals where they get even more great beer. One of my friend's started a beer and wine blog that catalogs pretty much all our drinking experiences, I've only written on it a few times. It's The Bottom Shelf.

Feel free to leave number five on the 'by Friday' list until... Friday. Because, well, I have about a million things to do by Monday, and unfortunately reading doesn't seem to be too high up on that list.

I didn't even notice that we had a task on your to-do list. You could always try telling us to clean. ;) I'll help out on Friday.

Aww, I don't want it to be an eviction. That's so... negative. No eviction notices.

Ah Mrs Arch, don't be so hard on yourself. Everybody needs a little break from reality to play videogames! Become the supreme ruler! Make the rioters bow to your might! Tax the citizens to create your own empire of glory!

... or be nice and give them parks.
